Somewhere along the streets of San Francisco, in search of Thai food and a good photo op.
My name is Ebony and I like to go places.
When I’m not going places, I’m an undergraduate student at the University of Florida.
Born and raised in South Florida to Caribbean parents, I began traveling at a young age. From Haiti to Paris and even Egypt, we didn’t have much growing up but, my family valued experiences over material possessions and that has shaped me into the person I am today. My master packing skills and need for fresh faces have turned me into the nomad I am today and I couldn’t be more grateful.
There are just too many places, too many souls and too many stories alive in this world to spend life in one place. I want to step out of my comfort zone. I want to learn all that I can. I want to be a global citizen.
I like to talk and I like meet people. I want to hear their stories and share them. I’m learning as I go, and I guess I just want to share that journey.
I normally chart my travels in my journal, but hey, it’s a new century so why not share with all who are willing to read? It’s just me, my backpack and my camera and I hope you’ll come along for the ride.
With Love,
Ebony Carla
